National Conference of Society of Veterinary Immunology & Biotechnology (ISVIB) VIBCON 2024 held on 26-28,September 2024 at Madras Veterinary College, TANUVAS, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
The main theme of the national conference was “Challenges in animal health and production amidst climate change: Innovative, sustainable solutions and their translation”.
The national conference was attended by national and international scientists, academicians and research scholars and there were more than 100 research papers including keynote speakers and invited speakers on different aspects of veterinary immunology and biotechnology with emphasis on sustainable solutions for the problems arising due to climate in livestock health and production. The whole conference was divided in the following technical sessions:

4. Advancements in veterinary vaccines and disease diagnosis
5. Genomics, Disease surveillance and epidemiology

8. One Health -problems and solutions
IIVER was represented by Dr. Gaya Prasad who attended all the technical sessions and actively participated in scientific and technical discussion. He also acted as one of the panelists in the final discussion on future direction of research and development in the field of veterinary immunology and animal biotechnology. IIVER sponsored Inaugural Session tea in which IIVER banner was displayed prominently and Dr. Gaya Prasad and Dr. Ansul effectively addressed the quarries of the conference attendees regarding IIVER admission process and teaching and laboratory infrastructure in the institute.
