The lecture on “How to Improve Mental Health to Channelize Your Energy in the Right Direction” delivered by Dr. Sonia Malik, former Senior Professor and Head of the Psychology Department at Maharshi Dayanand University, at IIVER, focused on the importance of mental well-being in achieving clarity, focus, and success in life.
Dr. Malik explained that mental health plays a crucial role in determining how effectively individuals use their energy. When the mind is disturbed by stress, anxiety, or negative thinking, energy becomes scattered and unproductive. In contrast, a calm and balanced mind allows individuals to direct their efforts toward meaningful goals.
