Internship Curriculum at IIVER

Our twelve-month internship curriculum is a mandatory requirement for students pursuing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) degree. It provides a well-rounded and immersive experience through compulsory rotating internships.

Diverse Postings

Rotate through various veterinary colleges across India, exposing yourself to diverse practices and approaches.
Get practical placements in Zoo and Wildlife Centers, National Parks, Meat Plants, Abattoirs, Milk Plants, Poultry Farms, Field Hospitals, Animal Welfare Organizations, Vaccine Institutes, Remount Veterinary Corps, Pharmaceutical, and Feed Industry.

Entrepreneurial Training

Learn farm routines in cattle, buffalo, piggery, rabbitry, sheep, goat farms, and equine or camel units.
Gain practical knowledge in poultry production and management, including layer and broiler production, hatchery and chick management.
Develop entrepreneurial skills with support from the university, including interest-free loans, technical assistance, and infrastructure.
