Dates: February 12th – 15th, 2026

At IIVER Rohtak, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Developing this vision, the student association IVSA Rohtak recently organized an offline student exchange program to Punjab. This initiative, made possible by the continuous encouragement and collaborative space provided by IIVER Dean, aimed to bridge geographical gaps between future veterinarians, facilitate knowledge sharing, and promote cultural exchange.

This exchange program was a milestone in their professional and personal development. Some of their major takeaways included:

  • Networking and Peer Learning: Building strong connections with fellow future veterinarians from different regions.
  • Clinical and Hospital Management: Observing the hospital management systems at other prominent veterinary colleges and comparing them with our own practices to gain a broader perspective.
  • Regional Veterinary Challenges: Engaging in insightful discussions regarding region-specific animal yields and the prevalence of specific animal diseases in Punjab compared to Haryana.
  • Soft Skills Development: Enhancing our communication and teamwork skills through continuous interaction and collaborative travel.
  • Cultural Exchange: Experiencing the rich culture of Punjab. We are now eagerly looking forward to hosting the Amritsar students in the future and introducing them to the vibrant culture of Haryana.

Gratitude and Acknowledgements

We are incredibly proud to have represented IIVER Rohtak on this platform. This enriching experience would not have been possible without the support of several key individuals and institutions:

  • IIVER Rohtak: For enabling this exchange, providing the necessary space for student associations to thrive, and constantly encouraging us to seek knowledge beyond our campus.
  • Dr. Amarpal (Dean of IIVER): We extend our sincere gratitude to our Dean for his steadfast support, leadership, and for encouraging such academic and professional outreach programs.
  • Dr. Randhir Dabur: For his continuous guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Dr. Deepanshu: A special note of thanks for his visionary efforts in introducing and establishing IVSA at our college, opening the doors to such global and national opportunities.
